A department of 12 people specialise in planning and buying across over 200 BARB measured channels, as well as around 40 non-measured channels. Our investment in planning and buying tools such as DDS, BARB, Xpert and Xtreme allows us to buy both effectively and competitively for each campaign.

As the largest media independent in the UK, one of our USPs is the fact that we negotiate individual deals for every advertiser – we do not attempt to ‘shoe horn’ our clients into agency arrangements that don’t match their objectives. We also believe our independence will lead to Brilliant being ahead of the game when Ofcom change the rules to restrict agency deals.

Brilliant’s TV billings amount to £60m across a range of clients, ranging from small spenders on DRTV (c. £20k) to £25m brand and retail advertisers. Our volume allows us to lever the best prices, and we know from independent audits that we can deliver very competitive deals without compromising quality.

Our range of experience also covers not only spot advertising but also sponsorship and interactive; interactive TV campaigns have been used across a range of clients and include direct response as well as brand extension messages.
